Before & After
Who isn’t in a hurry to move into their new home? Ground breaking for this 4,000 square foot Masonry home was in November. Winter starts present many challenges. Excavation and concrete footings and foundation have to be completed before the winter ground freeze. Framing and the roof have to be completed to shelter materials and workmen from inclement weather. Before the New Year, the roof and shell of home were erected and water tight. Space heaters were used to provide a comfortable working environment through winter. By spring, all finishes were ready for install. In July, 8 months later, the home was complete and a Certificate of Occupancy was delivered. A 2,000 square foot, finished basement was added shortly thereafter.
