Commercial – Restaurant-Tavern
Before & After
When closing down a successful, established restaurant, time is money. In order to limit lost revenue from food sales, this restaurant was closed for 2 weeks only. During this time, a protective scaffold was erected and the glass storefront, steel lintels, concrete foundation, masonry front, signage, lighting, roof were all removed and replaced. Demo and Interior finishes were completed just enough to open one side of the restaurant. The existing restaurant interior was then split into two spaces; one an operable restaurant, and the other under construction. Roof, HVAC, Electric, and Masonry repair and rebuild work commenced simultaneously on the exterior, above protective scaffolding. This work included erection of the trademark White Castle Tower, installation of new Roof Top HVAC units and new power, signage, and lighting. Once the eastern half of restaurant was completed, the construction and food service sides were swapped and the all interiors were completed. Substantial completion was achieved in 6 weeks. The above Before-After pictures show the dramatic improvement reached in only 6 weeks.
